Draining dehydrating isolating the forces that kill

I feel like I've just given blood
Been on a long hike and haven't eaten
and also had a couple of drinks...

It really sucks, but it's alright
I stand on the tips of my toes
I lick my lips and I moan, "ignore the rain."

I stand there getting sucked expecting rains to juice my blood
So I could build, crush, create, kill, or at least do something useful
The storms and droughts I'm used to, they're both delirious highs
I see Jesus in the window, 30 bald clones at his side

It's not enough, but its alright...
I stand and I twitch and I mourn
I clutch at hips in the storm, Northern (ignore the rain)

I stagger away from the lake in my fisherman's boots and my fireman's hat
Clutching a pint of water, some duct tape, 2 balloons and a file cabinet
Reach Golga's home by noon, she whispers sweet nothings like prayers
"Take off them boots you sure look cute coming up those stairs"

Me falling asleep, and putting on airs:
"Look, I'm almost dead!"
"Carry me to that bed!"
"With these boots, I thee wed!"
"Rouse me out of my stupor, Golga; full steam ahead!"
